Fetching document data

After staged-documents were classified and had their data extracted, you can use the endpoint GET /external-api/staged-documents/<uuid> to retrieve all data related to the staged-documents.

Note that the endpoint can be used with any staged-document as long as you know its uuid (returned in the upload phase). Importantly, if the document hasn’t been classified yet, some desired data might not be available.

Downloading document

If necessary, you can also download the document via the API: simply download the contents of the URL contained in the downloadUrl of the ExternalStagedDocument returned by the endpoint mentioned above. The file that is downloaded in this way has a filename that is identical to the UUID of the staged-document.

Note that the download is available only for a limited amount of time!
